TWO BAD RIDDIM produced by RAS-I 2000
Two Bad Overview
In the year 2000, dancehall music was changing fast. The bashment flow, with its sharp rhythms and energetic style, became a big part of the scene. DJs and selectors loved it because it brought new energy to dancehall nights. One riddim that stood out was the "Two Bad Riddim," produced by RAS-I. RAS-I is known in Jamaica for his creative productions and his work with several dancehall artists. He helped shape the sound of that era, making riddims that people still remember today. The "Two Bad Riddim" brought together some strong voices. Mr Lexx delivered "Bless It Up," showing why he was one of the top deejays at the time. Mr Lexx is also known for his hit "Full Hundred," which reached international charts and made him famous outside Jamaica. Harry Toddler added "Pretty Face," bringing his unique style. He was already well-known from his days with the Scare Dem Crew, who made a big mark in dancehall history. King David came in with "Money," a tune that fit perfectly with the bashment vibe. Elephant Man, another key name in dancehall, gave fans "Warn Dem." Elephant Man is famous for his high-energy performances and hits like "Pon De River, Pon De Bank," which even reached the Billboard charts. Ricky Rudy’s "No Fraid" and Lady Saw’s "Current Affair" added more flavor to the riddim. There was even a version called "Two Bad" for selectors to mix and play with.
