Wel Ez Recordz keeps this one lean and straight-talking: five songs, five voices, and a title cut that feels like the centre of the whole thing. The riddim has that steady, no-nonsense reggae pulse, giving Iprecyse’s “State of Mind” and Tatik’s “Mek It Work” room to sit easy while still pushing the message forward. Kanvers comes with a tougher edge on “Fight Di Fight, ” and Shayne3G’s “Nah Give UP” leans into the determined side of the project without sounding forced. Released in September 2021, it landed right in that period when a lot of fresh riddims were cropping up, but this one keeps its focus on grit, perseverance, and a simple groove that doesn’t overcomplicate the point.
