About as broad and sturdy as 2021 one-riddim projects get, World Traveller lines up Capleton, Luciano, Fantan Mojah, Delly Ranx, Ken Parker, Jah Thunder and others over Jah T Jr’s production, with the tracklist running ten cuts deep. The songs lean into roots-reggae patience rather than anything flashy: militant one-drop pulse, clean skanking guitar, and a bass line that stays low and round while the singers push spiritual survival and resilience. Capleton’s “You Will Make It (Try)” and Luciano’s “Only Jah Can Save Us” set the tone early, while Ken Parker’s “My Whole World” adds a veteran edge that sits comfortably beside the younger voices. The whole set was issued in mid-December 2021, and it keeps circling the same slow-burn groove, with the bass and drums doing the main talking underneath the vocals.
