Trinity Overview

In 2013, reggae music saw a fresh wave of energy with the release of the Trinity Riddim project. This rhythm was produced by ZJ HENO and RIZ I PRODUCTION, two names known for keeping reggae’s roots alive while also welcoming new talent. ZJ HENO, a respected DJ and producer from Kenya, has helped push reggae and dancehall forward in East Africa. RIZ I PRODUCTION is known for supporting upcoming artists and creating rhythms that stay true to the foundation of reggae. The Trinity Riddim gave young singers a real chance to share their voices. Dotti brought the track "Jirani," which stands out for its smooth delivery and thoughtful lyrics. Ck added "I Wanna Love You," a track that shows his ability to blend melody and emotion. Samukat’s "Record Of Sin" adds a deeper, reflective touch, showing his unique style. Kappa delivered "Choose Wisely," reminding listeners of the importance of making good choices in life. Lavoste’s "Mark My Word" features heartfelt vocals and strong songwriting. Tilibop, another rising artist, contributed "World Need Money," a song that speaks to real-life struggles. The instrumental "Trinity Riddim Version" by ZJ HENO & RIZ I closes out the project, letting the rhythm shine on its own. This recording remains a proof of reggae’s strength in 2013. Each artist brought their own story, and together with the producers, they created a project that honors reggae’s past and points to its future.
