Trifecta Riddim – Don Corleon

Trifecta Riddim comes from Donovan “Don Corleon” Bennett at the point when his name was starting to carry real weight across dancehall and roots reggae alike. By 2003 he was already sharpening a sound that mixed tough drum programming with a cleaner, more melodic finish, and that approach gave the riddim a little more lift than the average early-2000s juggling.

The cut is a bright, bouncing dancehall rhythm with a quick step and a slippery bottom end, the kind of pattern that leaves enough air for deejays to ride it without crowding the pocket.
