By 2016, dancehall was leaning hard into sharp one-riddim sets that could carry a few veteran names and a couple of sly combinations, and Torpedo Riddim fits right into that moment. Dawg House and Jus Bus keep the arrangement tight across just seven cuts, with Delly Ranx and Craig Dennis’ “Shake It” bringing some cheeky dance-floor motion and Vybz Kartel’s “Dutty and Mucky” giving the project its nastiest pull. Alozade’s “Worldwide Gangsters” and Chino’s “Di Girl Dem” also slot in cleanly, while the instrumental from Jus Bus and Madd Dawg gives the riddim its own stripped-down spine. It’s one of those mid-2010s dancehall packs that feels built for selectors, but the tracklist still has enough personality to keep it from sounding like filler.
