Tool Riddim – Monstapiece Productions

Right in the middle of the 2010 soca run, Monstapiece Productions kept this one tight and club-ready, with only three cuts circling the same bright, hard-driving riddim. Fadda Fox and Skinny Fabulous lock into “Hot Steppa” with the kind of push-and-pull that works on a Carnival road mix, while Lil Rick’s “Wuckin Up” leans into the cheekier, waistline-first side of the groove. Mad Dawg closes it out with “Carnival Gal, ” and that last track helps seal the whole thing as a quick, focused party set rather than a sprawling compilation.
