In 2021, when dancehall was still leaning hard into romance, self-worth, and slick one-riddim packages, Throw Some Love Riddim from Rivastone Productions came through with a compact seven-artist spread over eight cuts. The project is credited to KenlyBass x Rivastone Productions, and KenlyBass opens and closes the set, which makes the whole thing feel tightly supervised rather than tossed together. Jelliss’ “Remind Us” and Stikki Tantafari’s “My Flame, My Fire” sit nicely beside Chanti-I’s “Special Way” and Jodian Pantry’s “Self Love, ” giving the riddim a run of tunes that keep circling affection without ever sounding repetitive. Asabi’s “Caribbean Peach” adds a brighter, sweeter edge, and the sequencing feels deliberate, with the title cut saved for the end like a final sign-off on the theme.
