Guide Riddim – Huntta Flow Production

Guide Riddim comes in with a lean, midtempo dancehall swing and a clean, sparring energy that leaves room for the voices to jab and flirt over the groove. Sick-O’s “Keek Keek” and Lola’s “Insecure” set the tone early, while Yung Image’s “Drunken Luv” gets two passes, raw and clean, which gives the riddim a little extra mileage without overcomplicating it. Huntta Flow Production and Hype Lyne Productions were already active around the same period on tighter, punchier projects like Mercenary, and this one keeps that same clipped, street-level feel rather than chasing anything glossy. With eight cuts plus the instrumental, Guide sits comfortably among Huntta Flow’s 2021 dancehall work as a compact session built for selectors who like a riddim with enough bounce to move a dance but enough restraint to let each song land.
