Jah Frozen’s “Everything Alright” feels like the cleanest entry point into Testify Riddim, because it rides the groove with a calm, confident ease while the rest of the set keeps the energy in motion around it. Ras Bogle’s “My Dream Girl” gets a little extra lift from Gyptian’s guest spot, and that pairing gives the riddim its most immediate melodic pull, with DiGinus and Janspee taking the same pattern in tougher, more direct directions. Prolific/Farm Yard Music Group keeps the whole thing lean at six cuts, and the inclusion of a raw version of “Touch Talk” hints at how much attention was paid to the rhythm itself.
