Six vocal cuts and one closing version make Tantric Riddim feel like a proper little dancehall showcase, with Richie Stephens, Hezron, Melanie Stormm and Nikki Burt carrying most of the weight across a set that leans into romantic and sexually charged themes. Released on November 2, 2018, through Diwali Records, it keeps the mood sultry and direct rather than trying to overcomplicate the concept. Richie Stephens’ “Sugar” opens things with the kind of seasoned polish you’d expect from him, while Hezron’s “Take Off Your Clothes” and Melanie Stormm’s “Honey” push the same lane in slightly different directions. The sequencing is tidy and deliberate, building the vibe track by track before Lenky Marsden’s instrumental version closes it out as the final nod to the riddim itself.
