Swear Riddim – Marie Production

Marie Production had already been active on the reggae side with the Emma set, but Swear Riddim leans a little more into the rootsy, reflective pocket, with a warm one-drop feel that leaves space for the voices to carry the mood. Zonie’s “How Dat Felt” and Ras Markco’s “Weh The Money Deh” give the juggling some of its sharpest turns, while Irus, Jahbalance and Shiftey keep the topic range moving from personal tension to money pressure and daily survival. The production keeps a steady, uncluttered pulse, and the instrumental cut closes the set under the Marie Prods name. Released in 2019, it lines up eight vocal selections before the final riddim version, with Tamba and Teear Dropz adding “Betta Dayz” and “Crime Free” to the sequence.
