Street Vybz Riddim 2.0 [750ml] - Notnice Records

NotNice Records goes back to one of its sharpest dancehall ideas with Street Vybz Riddim 2. 0 [750ML], a 2024 juggling that stretches from raw party talk to street-level threat songs without losing its bounce. Ainsley “Notnice” Morris has long been one of the scene’s most recognizable rhythm makers, known for hard drum programming, clean melody work, and a catalogue that helped define modern dancehall through names like Popcaan, Spice, and Kartel’s camp. This riddim fits that lane neatly: tough, digital, and loud enough for the dance.

The lineup gives the riddim its weight. Aidonia comes in with “Bottles, ” a straight club cut from one of dancehall’s most durable deejays. Chronic Law’s “Weekend (Bup Bup)” brings his colder, more ominous tone, while Sean Paul’s “Gyal Chasin” lightens the mood with the polished crossover instincts that have kept him global for years. Konshens adds another liquor-fuelled turn on “Bottle and Cup, ” and Govana’s “Gvn Toe” and “Favor” push the swing toward sly, swagger-heavy storytelling. Jah Vinci’s “Church” pulls in a more melodic, prayerful edge, and Kalash’s “Anything a Anything” adds a sharper Caribbean import with his French-language dancehall attack.

Elephant Man’s “Bring Rum” is the obvious party trigger, full of the manic energy that made him a staple in bashment settings. Spragga Benz’s “Battlefield Prayer” gives the set some veteran grit, while Richie Campbell’s “Obeah Me” widens the project beyond Jamaica. The whole thing plays like a proper sound-system juggling: bottle talk, bravado, faith, and menace all riding the same pulse.
