Soul Connection Riddim – Soul Chordz Productions

Soul Connection has that warm, horn-tinged reggae pulse that feels more soulful than سخت-driving, with a laid-back groove that leaves room for each singer to lean into melody and message. Soul Chordz Productions line up a deep cast for the 2013 set, and the strongest moments come from the heavier voices: Turbulence’s “Pappa Jah Jah, ” Anthony B’s “Hands Of My Enemies, ” and Perfect Giddimani’s “Love In My Soul” all sit nicely in the pocket, while Thai Stylee’s “Stop Dem” and Jah Screechy’s “Selassie I Come” keep the energy rooted in roots-conscious fire. The inclusion of a melodica version from Soul Chordz themselves adds a nice dubwise coda, and the whole thing sits in that early-2010s era when producers were still giving reggae riddims space to breathe instead of packing every bar.
