Slow Service Riddim – Brukway Production

Slow Service Riddim came out in 2018 from Brukway Production and lines up a busy soca cast led by Claudette CP Peters, Jumo Primo, Kimmy, Menance, Peter Ram, Zamoni, Fiva Glass, Icylink, J-Pella, Lyrical Mamba, Marly B, Night Hawk, Samoke and Steppa Ranks. The set runs 17 tracks in all, with two J-Pella cuts and Marly B’s radio edit, full version, and instrumental of Sah Dem Bad giving it a little extra shape beyond a standard VA package. Work It, Ring Ding Wine, My Whine, and Kan-Dou are among the key songs, and Zamoni’s Work It helped give the riddim added attention. Brukway’s production has a strong Antiguan soca feel here, with a mid-tempo, dance-floor focus that keeps the release moving without losing its groove.
