A bright, party-ready soca groove carries Sideline Riddim, with the percussion and melody leaning into carnival-time energy rather than anything too heavy. Xpert Productions keeps the set lean at three cuts, sequenced simply with Lyrikal’s “Gyal Messenger, ” Kuttit’s “Rudeness, ” and V’ghn’s “Dirty Heart, ” and the release runs as a short digital single package of roughly nine minutes. Lyrikal opens with the biggest anthem-style pull, Kuttit leans into the flirtier side of the riddim, and V’ghn closes it out with the Grenada-facing spark that helped give the set its early momentum. Sideline Riddim was released on April 19, 2019, under DJ Stephen.
