By 2019, soca was in one of those seasons where small-riddim projects were doing plenty of the heavy lifting, and Gas Mask Riddim sits right in that pocket with a tight three-track set from Stockroom Productionz. The liveliest cut is probably “Staggaring Jab, ” where Bonilus, Stamina Smurf and Lil Kerry lean into the jab-jab energy with that rough, carnival-ready edge, while Tuffa’s “Spray It” brings Hypa 4000 and Hance into the mix over the same sharp, punchy rhythm built for road play. Stockroom keeps the arrangement lean and direct, letting the percussion and bass do most of the talking, and the release closes with the plain instrumental version of Gas Mask Riddim, clocking in at just under 2: 40.
