SEWAGE BREATH RIDDIM produced by RPR MUSIC PRODUCTIONS – 2011
Sewage Breath Overview
The Sewage Breath Riddim started in the studio with a strong vision. The studio hand wanted a bashment rhythm that would stand out at any yard session. They worked closely with the producer, making sure every drum and bassline hit hard. The goal was simple: create a dancehall rhythm that DJs and fans would love. RPR MUSIC PRODUCTIONS is the label behind this project. Known for pushing new sounds in dancehall, RPR has worked with both established and rising artists. The label has a reputation for bringing together unique voices on one riddim, and Sewage Breath Riddim is a good example of this approach. Several top artists recorded on this rhythm. 77klash (Barrington) delivered "Kill Joy," showing his gritty style. Beenie Man, a legend with hits like "Who Am I" and a Grammy winner for Best Reggae Album in 2009, brought energy to "Rock The Wold." Bryan Art, known for songs like "Rock and Come In," added his voice to "So Much Trouble," giving the riddim a rootsy touch. Burnin’s "We Have It All" and Crisopolis with "Beat Dem Bad" both kept the momentum going, each adding their own flavor. Fambo came with "Politician," Ikaya sang "G - Spot," Khago voiced "Practice Fi Rich," Kiprich did "Chatty Mouth," and Millitant closed out with "High Roller." When this tape hit the streets, DJs picked it up right away. The Sewage Breath Riddim became a symbol of the 2011 dancehall scene, full of energy and unity.
