Sea Of Love Riddim Vol. 1 came out in 2014 from Skinny Bwoy Records, with Sadiki handling the mix and master and steering the whole project. It brings together 10 tracks from 10 different artists, moving through a rootsy reggae set that mixes love songs, conscious cuts, and a few more upbeat moments. Highlights include Twiggi’s Kiss Me One More Time, Pam Hall’s Freedom Song, Helen Rogers’ Woman Overboard, and the joint cut Party Tun Up by Sadiki and Aj Brown, while Sadiki also closes with the instrumental Sea of Love Riddim. The project is rooted in a revamp of the classic Sea of Love rhythm, originally tied to Studio One, and that connection gives the compilation a vintage foundation even as the arrangements lean modern.
