Non Stop Riddim – Sasaine Music Records

With six tracks and just five vocal cuts, Non Stop Riddim keeps the focus tight, cycling through Alva, Deep Jahi, Dossantos and Jahvillani over a mid-tempo reggae swing that feels more rugged than glossy. Deep Jahi’s “Stay Far” has that guarded, streetwise pull, while Jahvillani gets two turns and uses “Life We Living” to ride the rhythm with a more reflective touch before doubling back on “Nah Let You Go. ” The instrumental version closes it out cleanly, and the whole EP landed on December 12, 2014, which puts it right in that run of Sasaine Music Records projects from the period when the label was building out its riddim catalogue.
