In 2009, dancehall was full of energy, with the bashment flow mixing fast lyrics and heavy beats. The School Yaad Riddim was a big part of this sound. It was produced by Adidjahiem Records, a label known for working with top dancehall artists and for its strong connection to the Gaza crew led by Vybz Kartel. Adidjahiem Records helped shape the sound of dancehall in the late 2000s. On the School Yaad Riddim, Popcaan Feat Jah Vinci delivered "Home."
