Saine Rain Riddim – Blackspyda Records

A short 2012 dancehall cut from Blackspyda Records, Saine Rain Riddim keeps the focus tight with just three tracks and a lean, no-frills setup. T’Nez and Saine team up on “Go With You, ” while Saine’s solo tune, “All Night, ” carries the vocal side of the project with a clean, late-night feel. The rhythm itself comes across as spare and steady rather than overloaded, which suits the release’s compact shape and leaves plenty of room for the hooky melodies to land. Black Spyda closes it out with the instrumental, and that final version does a lot of the talking on its own, giving the riddim its full shape without any extra clutter.
