From Trinidad’s Gospel-reggae corner, Jah Light Records lined up a compact five-cut set in 2015 that keeps the message front and centre without losing the riddim’s dancehall pull. Royal Majestic moves with a clean, mid-tempo pulse and leaves room for the vocals to carry the weight, whether Jah Kiley opens with “Be Still” or Da Gospel Diva and Jaron Nurse lift “Woman You’re Royal” into the set’s strongest hook.
