It comes out of that early-’70s Jamaican studio style Lee was known for, with a lean lineup that lets the groove and the dub version do the talking. Derrick Morgan brings the title track’s direct vocal edge, while Augustus Pablo’s A Tuff Dub adds the heavier instrumental side and gives the riddim its darker identity.
