REGGAE ROCK RIDDIM produced by TURF MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT 2015
Reggae Rock Overview
The Reggae Rock Riddim first came together in the studio with a clear vision. The producers wanted to create a sound that felt both strong and classic, with deep basslines and a rootsy reggae vibe. The foundation builder behind this project set out to capture the true spirit of reggae, making sure every part of the riddim was tight and purposeful. TURF MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT led the production. This label is known for working with top dancehall and reggae artists, and has built a solid reputation for quality releases. TURF MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT’s work on this riddim helped it become popular in roots sessions and dancehall parties, making it a favorite for selectors and fans alike. The riddim features some standout artists. Busy Signal gave us “Reggae Make You Rock,” bringing his energetic style and catchy flow. Then there’s Busy Signal Ft. Mink Jo on “Love You More,” where the blend of voices adds a smooth, romantic touch. Mink Jo - Love You More also stands out with the same song, but with her own focus and feeling. Christopher Martin’s “Sweet Sweet Love” brings soulful singing and heartfelt lyrics, adding another layer to the riddim’s mood. Jr Daine’s “Like You” gives a fresh, youthful vibe. Kananga & Gottyo’s “Thank You” adds gratitude and positivity, while Lutan Fyah’s “Feel Like Skank” keeps the roots spirit alive. Diamond’s “This Time” and Rc’s “Propaganda” add their own messages, and Romain Virgo’s “Stick By You” closes things with loyalty and warmth. This musical backdrop remains an important part of reggae history, remembered for its strong foundation, creative direction, and the energy each artist brought to the project.
