REDEMPTION RIDDIM produced by ZION 1 PRODUCTIONS 2015
Redemption Overview
In 2015, reggae was finding new ways to stay strong and meaningful. The Redemption Riddim project arrived at just the right time, mixing culture and message in every track. This set brought together artists who each brought their own style, but all shared the same passion for roots reggae. Behind the project was ZION 1 PRODUCTIONS, a label known for its commitment to roots music and authentic reggae sound. ZION 1 PRODUCTIONS had already built a reputation for working with both rising and established artists, helping to keep the roots revival alive in the 2010s. Phocas opened the set with "Who Dem Bwoy Deh," delivering a powerful message with a deep, earthy voice. Tottii followed with "Who Can'T Hear," adding a melody that fit perfectly with the rhythm’s roots feel. Fantan Mojah, already famous for his hit "Hail The King" in 2005, contributed "Hail Me King," showing why he is respected in the reggae world for his strong vocals and positive lyrics. Raspec’s "What Is Man" brought thoughtful words and a steady flow, while Ozyan I’s "Money In The World" questioned the role of wealth in life. Each track added something different, but all stayed true to reggae’s message of unity and consciousness. The Redemption Riddim set proved that in 2015, reggae was still a force for good, blending voices and ideas into one strong sound. This collection remains a clear example of reggae’s lasting power and its ability to bring people together through music.
