In 2016, a group of reggae artists and producers came together in the studio to create a special rhythm project. The idea was to build a roots reggae sound that felt both fresh and true to tradition. The foundation of this project was set by the creative direction of IDS MUSIC, a label known for bringing out the best in Caribbean music. IDS MUSIC has produced several notable reggae releases and is respected for its focus on authentic island sounds. Each artist on the project brought their own style and message. Stop Sa performed “Guy Al Mc,” adding a unique voice to the rhythm with thoughtful lyrics. Only Jah’s track “Little Di Lion” is another highlight, showing his talent for conscious reggae. Only Jah is known for his strong presence in the French reggae scene and has worked with several respected artists over the years. Je T’Aime Comme Ça delivered “Jamadom,” which stands out for its melodic flow and heartfelt delivery. Wonders contributed the song “Nashoo,” bringing smooth vocals and a deep message to the rhythm. Nigga Like Me’s “Apach” added a different energy, making the project more dynamic. Each song fits together, creating a full reggae experience. Other tracks like “Lanmou” by Dj Skaz, “Best Friend” by Tronixx & Widdy G, and “For You” by Bouba Kirikou also helped shape the sound of the release.
