Stronger Rock Riddim – Stronger Productions

2016 reggae saw Stronger Productions line up the Stronger Rock Riddim with a deep roots-leaning set of voices, led by Paul Elliot’s My Heart Is Gone, Admiral Tibet’s Precious Life, Lukie D’s I Do, Half Pint’s Love Is Burning, and Anthony Cruz on African Prince. The riddim also brings in Limey Murray, Andrew Priest, Nature, Sherida Sharpe, Derrick Lara and Jah Mali, with a Paul Elliot dub mix closing things out. It’s a varied showcase with veteran singers and younger names sharing the same foundation, and the tracklist leans into conscious themes, lover’s rock and straight-up melody. Stronger Productions kept it polished and singer-friendly, with the kind of lineup that gives the riddim a broad appeal.
