Juke Boxx Productions usually gets talked about for sharper, later-2000s dancehall work, but Swagger Like Us came in with a harder, more swagger-heavy swing that fit the moment perfectly in 2008. Busy Signal’s “Hey Girl” and Mavado’s pair of cuts, “Di Swagga So Special” and “Money Changer, ” carry the most attitude here, while Aidonia’s “Bang Them” and Vybz Kartel’s “Million” keep the pressure on with clipped flows and a stark, street-level edge.
