Eight cuts and seven voices give Rainfall Riddim a compact, sound-system feel, with Aaron Kedar, Deanie Ranx, Determine, Fire Fly, Seargant D and Starkey Banton all circling Ruff Cut Band’s 2007 production. Determine’s “Yu Know Yu Baby Pupa” is the one that keeps pulling the ear back, while Starkey Banton gets two slots here, “Lion Roar” and “Smoking Ban, ” which helps give the set a little extra muscle.
