Gunfire appears twice, opening with Maproblems and later linking up with Big C on Rugare Tange Nhamo, while Technique’s Up To The Sky, Spyne Mugah’s Ndichenesei, and Clarify’s Ndichakumirira are among the other standout selections. The riddim leans into a straight, energetic Zimbabwean dancehall style, with titles like Kumagumo, Bhiza, and Mvenge Mvenge Khonangale adding to the street-level feel. Bad Yash also closes the set with the title track First Step Riddim, giving the release a neat finish.
