Pure Water Riddim – Attomatic Records / Dan Sky Records

Pure Water Riddim comes out of the Attomatic Records and Dan Sky Records camp, two Kingston-linked names that have been active in modern dancehall’s street-heavy, digital lane. Attomatic, tied to producer Atto Wallace, has built a catalogue around hard-edged contemporary riddims and standout singles, while Dan Sky has carved out a parallel identity with high-energy dancehall productions and label work. This one landed in November 2021 and carries 16 cuts, which is enough room for variation without losing the pulse of the juggling.

The riddim itself has a clean, percussive bounce and a tight, crowd-ready swing. It sits in that fast dancehall pocket where the instrumental leaves space for sharp talk, melody, and quick-turn hooks. Danny English brings the kind of gravelly, veteran delivery that still cuts through on a juggling, and Delly Ranx adds seasoned authority with his melodic deejay style. Bramma’s “Bun You” and Prospec’s “Eyes Pan The Gyal Dem” and “Wifey A The Keeper” help give the release some of its sharper personality, while Billy Xstream’s “Show Love” and Rass Fraser Jr’s “Marijuana” push the theme toward everyday talk and streetwise observation.
