Busy Signal’s “Pussy Cat” is the hook that pulls the Pit Bull Riddim into focus, with Vybz Kartel and Wayne Marshall also getting a prime slot on the small 2005 Dawg House Productions set. The release runs lean at five tracks, and that version cut sits right in the middle between Bling Dawg’s “Wuk Har” and Kartel’s duet with Wayne Marshall, which keeps the sequence tight and straight to the point. Leftside and Esco’s “Light My Splif” adds a cheekier counterweight to the rest of the lineup.
