Vybz Kartel’s “Gun Big Nuh Bumboclat” is the obvious pull here, but the Ritz Karlton Riddim also gives Aidonia’s “Just Like Football” and Tami Chynn’s “Girls Gone Wild” plenty of room to breathe across a short, six-track run. The cut is straight dancehall, with the songs sequenced back-to-back and no filler beyond the main vocal sides, which keeps the energy locked in around the title riddim rather than padding it out with dub versions. Rik Rok’s “Forever” softens the set a touch, while the two unknown tracks, “My Body” and “Shotta Thing, ” sit deeper in the lineup. The release is dated 2005 and credits various artists on production.
