Milk Can Riddim – Dawg House Productions

Seven cuts deep and straight to the point, Milk Can Riddim lines up Bling Dawg, Bounty Killer, Agent Sasco, Sizzla, Capleton, K Queens and Iyara on a 2017 Dawg House production that clocks in at just over 21 minutes. The rhythm has that lean, late-2010s dancehall feel: taut drums, a clipped groove and enough space for the veterans to lean into sharp talk and command-heavy delivery. Bounty Killer’s “Nu Secret” and Capleton’s “How Wi Deal Wid It” give the set its grittiest edge, while Sizzla’s “A Love Thing” smooths things out without losing the pressure. Bling Dawg’s “Morals” opens the roll call cleanly, and Iyara’s “Hafi Get Out” closes it with the kind of direct, no-nonsense finish that suits the riddim’s title.
