Pagans Overview
In 2010, dancehall sound systems across Jamaica and beyond picked up a strong new bashment release: the Pagans Riddim, produced by CASHFLOW RECORDS. This riddim became a favorite for selectors, with its sharp beats and catchy hooks that fit perfectly into the dancehall scene. Several artists stood out on this project. Caldinho delivered “Try Survive,” a track that quickly became a crowd favorite at street dances. CASHFLOW RECORDS also featured their own cut, “Pagans Riddim,” showing off their production skills. The label, known for working with top dancehall acts and for its popular “School Bag Riddim,” helped push the Pagans Riddim to many DJs' playlists. Chan Dizzy, who gained attention in 2011 with his hit “Hello Badmind,” added two songs to the riddim: “Same Shit” and “Same Thing.” Both tracks carried his signature lyrical style.
