Audition Riddim – Cashflow Records

Out of Kingston’s 2019 dancehall churn, Audition Riddim lands with a compact, gritty pulse that leaves room for sharp one-line hooks and rude-boy attitude. Cashflow Productions keeps the arrangement lean and percussive, and the set leans on four voices in two versions each, with the raw cuts pushing the edge a little harder. Gage’s “Give Har” has the kind of teasing bounce that fits the dance instantly, while Laa Lee brings a sly, breezy swagger to “Sweat” and Starface rides “Bubble Nonstop” with a more playful, party-ready energy. Maded’s “Piss Come Dung” rounds out the mood with a rougher, more slang-heavy turn.
