Running through Cashflow Records’ 2013 London Bridge Riddim, the first thing you notice is how tightly it leans into a plain-spoken dancehall groove: a dry, militant pulse under the vocals, with the raw and radio cuts of Tall Up’s “Bounce It” setting the tone right away. From there it moves through a useful spread of voices — Ras Strika on “Cash Grow, ” Paradyme on “Mek Dem Hate, ” and Mad X closing out with “Sick A Dem” — so the riddim keeps its focus on chants, talk-through hooks, and quick-fire rider-style lines rather than any lush arrangement.
