Short and sharp, the 2018 Overdrive Riddim from Jam2 Productions keeps the focus on a compact dancehall juggling with seven cuts and no wasted space. Quada’s “We Run Dancehall” leads the pack and even gets the raw treatment, while Rane Son’s “Prepare” and Persona’s “Hell Bruck Loose” follow the same pattern, each paired with a stripped-back version that keeps the pressure on the voice and the cadence.
