ONE CLAN RIDDIM VOL.2 (ZIM DANCEHALL) – CHILL SPOT RECORDZ 2014
One Clan Overview
In 2014, a new dancehall riddim began to take shape in the studio. The track builder put together a heavy, club-ready beat that was made for the dancefloor. The riddim’s deep basslines and sharp drum patterns quickly caught the attention of artists and producers in the scene. From the start, it was clear this riddim was designed for sound clashes and late-night parties. The journey from creation to release was all about energy and collaboration. The riddim was passed around to some of the most exciting voices in dancehall. Lutah King was one of the first to jump on it, recording the song “Handisikunyengerera.” Lutah King is known for his powerful delivery and has built a loyal following across Zimbabwe’s dancehall community. Next came Ras Pompy with “Hatirarame Ne Lucky.” Ras Pompy is respected for his consistent output and has worked with top dancehall producers in the region. Super Natural added his own flavor with “She Love,” bringing his signature melodic style to the project. Stancerfire delivered “Ndakazviparira,” while Bling General brought streetwise lyrics to “Officer Musandisunge.” Each artist gave the riddim a new voice, making the project feel fresh and versatile. When the riddim finally dropped, it quickly became a staple at parties and sound clashes. Many fans say it defined dancehall’s bashment energy in 2021, even years after its release. The riddim’s journey from studio to street proved that a strong beat and talented artists can keep the dancehall spirit alive.
