Tabvarura Speaker Riddim lands as a packed Zimbabwean dancehall showcase, with more than a dozen voices riding the same 2014 pattern and the energy shifting from rude-boy flex to local street talk from cut to cut. Abra Skimbo’s “Zvakatanga Rinhi, ” Donteh’s “Get Gyal, ” and Richie Loop’s “Mbare Gyal” give the set some of its sharpest turns, while Jusa Dementor’s “Isusu (Abra)” keeps the producer’s own name right in the middle of the action.
