National Front Riddim feels a little more meditative than the harder-edged Soul Vybz name might suggest, leaning into roots reggae with a calm, earthy pulse rather than any big dancehall theatrics. Issued in 2007, it lines up Al Campbell, Luciano, Chezidek, Junior Kelly and Lukie D on the same cut, which gives the project real weight without overcrowding it. Luciano’s “Travelling” and Junior Kelly’s “Need A Break” sit nicely beside Al Campbell’s title track, keeping the message conscious and grounded.
