Morning After Riddim – UNKNOWN

Morning After Riddim came out in 2018 as a tight three-song soca set on Captain John Music, led by V’ghn’s Trouble in the Morning, L Pank’s Whole Night, and Holla Bak’s Attitude. Produced by John “Captain John” Rickards, the riddim leans into a live, brass-led groove with guitar and percussion giving it a more band-driven feel than a straight computer beat. That mix suits the lineup well: V’ghn brings the sharpest hook, L Pank keeps the tempo rolling, and Holla Bak links up with Skinny Fabulous on Attitude for a heavier party cut. It was issued as a short Carnival release, and its balance of melody and bacchanal made it a clean fit for the 2018 season.
