Modern Times Riddim – Infini-T Music

A warm, rootsy cut from Infini-T Music, Modern Times Riddim carries that mid-2010s Spanish reggae feel: live-band pulse, clean bassline, and enough space for the vocals to breathe, with Luciano and Polyfamous opening the set on “My Youths” before Burnin Spectacular’s “Seat Tight” and Brother Wildman’s “Jah Jah Warrior” push it a little deeper into conscious territory. The riddim was handled with Forward Ever Band in Madrid, and the finished versions were mixed and mastered at Okoumé Studios by Mista-T and Cosme Deyah, which gives the whole thing a polished, band-room snap rather than a stiff program-loop sound. Five tracks make up the release, rounded out by Blueskank and Mad Division’s “50 Years Back” and Yeyo Pérez’s “Lot Of Questions, ” with “My Youths” arriving on July 31, 2015.
