    Back in 2010, dancehall was leaning hard into lean, digital juggling style again, and Metro Riddim fits right into that moment with a Spanish-language lineup that feels geared for the parties as much as the sound systems. The cut with Kafu Banton on “Te Ves Bien” has that easy swagger you want from a riddim like this, while Ranks featuring Tony El Yeyo on “Me Vale 2” pushes a more playful, confrontational edge. Elsewhere, Lil Randall’s “Plena Pa’ El Ghetto” and Lion’s “Ella Miraba” keep the energy moving without overcomplicating the formula. It’s one of those early-2010 dancehall sets that tells you a lot about how regional the genre had become by then, and the mix of artists gives it a street-level feel rather than a glossy one.
