Mad Up Riddim – Madhouse Records arrived in 2016 as a Dancehall juggling from the long-running Madhouse camp, with Cham, Tanto Blacks, Di Rebel and Vanessa Bling among the voices riding the cut. The set moves through Cham’s Yeah (Mad Up), Tanto Blacks’ Real Rich and Mi Nuh Likey, Di Rebel’s Money Mi Want, plus Cham’s Jump Off and Vanessa Bling’s Stay Ina Yuh Lane, giving the project a mix of swagger, money talk and lane-claiming attitude. Madhouse has a deep history in Jamaican dancehall, and this release carries that familiar, street-ready energy. What separates it is the split between the Mad Up and Jump Off versions, which gives the riddim a little extra movement without losing its raw club pressure.
