Master Blaster Overview
The island beat of 2014 was full of energy and good vibes. It had a bright, jumpy rhythm that made people want to dance, especially during Carnival time. This sound was everywhere on the festival roads that year, bringing everyone together in celebration. Big Red The Dj helped set the mood with the song "Twerkie Twerkie." The track had a fun, playful style that got crowds moving. Kaskatee brought a different flavor with "Juck It Down Again," adding to the excitement of the riddim. Lil Rick, known for his hit "I Like Um," added his own festival fire. He is a well-known soca artist from Barbados and has won several Road March titles in his home country. Peter Ram, another respected name in soca, joined in with "Taxeisha." Peter Ram is famous for his big hit "Good Morning," which became a Carnival anthem a few years later. All these songs came together on the Master Blaster Riddim, created and released by PLATTA RECORDS. The label is known for producing catchy soca riddims that get played at parties and on the road. The Master Riddim Blaster Instrumental by Platta Records gave all the artists a strong, uplifting base to build their songs. The whole project captured the spirit of the 2014 Carnival season.
