Mama Warrior Riddim – Everything Natural

A lean, earthy reggae cut with a rootsy pulse and just enough menace in the bass, Mama Warrior Riddim feels like the kind of one-riddim idea that doesn’t need a crowd to leave a mark. Everything Natural kept it tight in 2016, and with only Doniki and Natty King on board, the focus stays on the songs rather than the format. Doniki’s “Mama Warrior” has the sharper title line, but Natty King’s “Rise From The East” feels like the one that opens the riddim out, matching the production’s steely groove with a chant-like uplift.
