MAD SIQUENCE RIDDIM produced by ELTORO PRODUCTIONS – 2011
Mad Siquence Overview
The bashment flow on this project started in the studio with a strong vision. The beat maker wanted to bring a new energy to dancehall. He used creative drum patterns and catchy melodies to build a sound that would move any dance. The producer, ELTORO PRODUCTIONS, is known for pushing dancehall forward. Based in Jamaica, the label has worked with a mix of rising and established artists. ELTORO PRODUCTIONS often focuses on melodic progressions, giving their riddims a unique and modern feel. Each artist brought something special to the project. Cubanis delivered “When Mi Rise It” with a sharp, confident style. His voice matched the riddim’s energy, making the track stand out. Etalian followed with “Nuh Run From People,” showing his skill for catchy hooks and strong delivery. Icomet’s “Life” added a thoughtful touch, using the beat to talk about real struggles and ambition. Strappa came in with “Gyals Dem Request Mi,” a song that quickly became popular in parties for its playful lyrics and danceable rhythm. Tjc’s “Tight Muscule” gave the riddim a bold, energetic twist, while Upt Uptown closed out with “Hair Braid No Fade,” adding a fresh, youthful vibe to the lineup. Even years after its 2021 release, selectors still play tracks from this dancehall recording. The combination of ELTORO PRODUCTIONS’ direction and the unique voices of each artist helped the project take over bashment sessions and keep its place in dancehall culture.
