Mad Ryder Riddim – Lion King Muzik

Mad Ryder Riddim came out on Lion King Muzik and is usually dated to 2012 in the post notes, though later archive listings place the dancehall set in 2015. It’s a slim three-track project with Agent Sasco’s Camouflage, Gappy Ranks’ Brooklyn Story featuring Mr. Miles, and Jimmy Cozier’s Gimmie a Hug. Gappy Ranks is the main name carried on the release, while Agent Sasco brings a sharper dancehall edge and Jimmy Cozier adds a smoother vocal contrast. The riddim keeps a tight focus and moves between hardcore style and more melodic cuts without overloading the tracklist.
